Bump this tune in yo' ride on a nice weekend. Perfect for that late afternoon, evening drive.
The Pic is of an old school flyer that I put up back in 04'. Ahh yess. =)
Cant Stop My Go
Inspired from the words of Mos Def and his song "Casa Bey", here's another "Listen and Learn" Funk Jam. Apart from gettin' down to this, please take heed of the message. The clips were taken from the documentary series "Embedded" with Current TV. Of course, you know I had to bring the funk with this. It sounds reminiscent of Madlib's song "Offbeat Groove". Anyway, I hope you dig it.
Take Flight
Ahh yess. I had to put this on. Another jam to get down to. One that the poppers might enjoy.
I know it's getting close to Valentine's Day, so I put up a slow jam. Hah.
Nah foreal, this is a revised version of a song called "Clarity" from "Still Chilled", released through SWAMP records. This song is part of a music set called "The Electric Chill", selected revised songs from "Still Chilled".
These songs are more on the vibey side overall. They're meant more for downtime, chillin', and groovin'. However it still has some dancible tracks to it. It's perfect for that night drive to clear your mind and relax. It's a great way to escape and get lost in your dreams. Dig? ;-)
Dedication:
To the people that live during the night... ;-)
It's Sonic's Poppin' Groove: The Hidden Stages...where it's not about the speed, but the groove. These funky tunes are inspired from the sound of the old school Sonic games (Sonic 1 - Sonic and Knuckles). Each song, much like in the game, has it's own theme. Each theme is influenced from yet even more timeless and classic music.
Disclaimer:
This music is, in no way, related to the actual Sonic video game Series. I am not the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog (like we didn't know that). This is just something done for fun, and hopefully, your enjoyment.
Also:
I am, in no way, trying to make fun of or trivialize:
• Michael Jackson (Thriller Night Zone)
• Kraftwerk (Kraftwerk Matrix Zone)
• or J-Dilla (J-Dilla Factory Zone)
in these songs.
These songs were meant to be tributes to these great artists. Please don't take it the wrong way.
